Hiring Range: $67,662.40 – $84,593.60 per year

General Summary of Duties: The FPATH (Forensic Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) and FHARPS (Forensic Housing and Recovery through Peer Services) Supervisor works as part of a team to provide services to clients who are Trueblood Class Members working to identify eligibility for the program and to locate, outreach, and engage those clients into these programs. This position supervises the FPATH and FHARPS staff in outpatient settings and ensures program fidelity through quality assurance activities. The Supervisor maintains a small caseload and will support the Forensic Director as needed to lead the Forensic Programs overall as needed. The Supervisor will focus on a housing first model for the FHARPS program and will focus primarily on the Trueblood/Forensic populations with referrals originating from multiple sources. The Supervisor will assist staff to develop both client and landlord relationships, assist clients and staff to identify, obtain, and maintain housing and an independent living status. Assist in managing housing resources, while coordinating the activities of the multiple housing teams. Assures appropriate treatment for clients, within a recovery framework, to improve overall functioning and general health and well-being. Monitors and assures compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements under managed care, and assures compliance with requirements from any other contracts assigned. Routinely reviews services provided, including completing quality assurance reviews of clinical records, to assure appropriate service delivery, community linkages, and documentation. Supervisory Responsibilities: Forensic Clinical Care Managers, Forensic Housing Support Specialist and Peer Support Specialists
Major Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Provide oversight, training, supervision, and ongoing reviews for all the FPATH and FHARPS assigned staff
- Coordinate with relevant internal and external departments to coordinate client referrals, ensure timely intake into program, and develop individualized plans
- Develop, implement, and maintain case management services to meet client needs and program goals
- Monitor program activity and work to maintain enrollment and appropriate service delivery levels per individual client needs
- Provide regular supervision, direction, and documentation for assigned staff, including individual meetings, group staff meetings, chart reviews, training requirements, performance issues, etc.
- Complete relevant reporting with outside entities as required by current contracts
- Practice good financial stewardship of agency and contract resources, including how time is being spent, supplies are used, property is being maintained, etc.
- Monitor spending of Flex Funds and other agency money to ensure accountability and appropriate use
- Monitor housing subsidies and client vouchers, ensuring correct financial information is entered into the PDAMS system and with the Care Team Assistant
- Work with department Director to monitor and align financials with expected spending and changes to income or trends
- Formalize and maintain training materials for specific programs and requirements
- Maintain productive working relationships with internal department leads to always ensure efficient and seamless coordination of client care and business needs
- Provide immediate crisis intervention and resolution as needed
- Maintain small caseload from both programs to support the program goals of reducing barriers to clients and enrolling those identified as eligible by the state and court
- Familiar with Landlord Tenant Law and ensure that programs are in compliance with applicable laws for housing programs
- Familiarity with Rent/Lease information and assistance (e.g. notices, evictions, housing support, rent collection)
- Assist and coach staff to provide all aspects of Housing Support Services to individuals enrolled
- Act as Liaison between client, landlord, other partnering agencies as needed
- Assist to complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, for the FPATH and FHARPS programs
- Assist Director of Forensic Programs with program development, interviewing, hiring, regular staff evaluations and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Assist with financial responsibility, including manage team credit card for booking hotels or other necessary purchases.
- Manage reports, track receipts and work with accounting to ensure necessary purchases for the program are tracked properly.
- Providing appropriate levels of treatment, skills training, and assistance to clients in managing mental health symptoms, developing skills to manage symptoms, and working on Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) per their service plan, such finances, transportation, maintaining or working towards independent living, etc.
- Working collaboratively with larger outpatient team of providers to support client in actively working towards treatment goals
- Coordinating care, such as scheduling, attending, and/or arranging transportation for appointments and other case management needs
- Maintaining and documenting in client charts and program trackers following agency, county, state, and federal guidelines.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Additional Essential Functions May Include:
Facilitating the day-to-day operations of the teams, including assuring appropriate staff coverage and timely delivery of services. Lead daily organizational/treatment planning meetings. Facilitate a healthy team environment of mutual support, cooperation, and acknowledgment for the value of each individual’s contributions to team functioning.
Maintain a safe and secure working environment. Model effective crisis intervention and effective communication and engagement strategies with clients who present as distressed and/or dissatisfied with services delivered by the teams. Screen clients presenting with acute risk (danger to self or others) and assist clinicians in developing safety plans with clients and involving Crisis Response Team when evaluation for detainment is indicated.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of relevant supervisory experience within the service field.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable, insured transportation
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in RCW 71.05.020.
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Master’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health.
EXPERIENCE: Expert (established subject matter expert, 5+ years of experience)
Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, or substance abuse treatment. Two years supervisory experience preferred.
LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT or LMHC).

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.. Ability to safely and legally drive personal and team vehicle, must hold a valid WA State license for 1 year with clean driving record to use agency vehicles
Work Environment: Frequent mobility in the community and other settings. May also require standing or sitting for extended periods.
Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the job duties, the employee is required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, or listen. Peripheral vision is also required for this position.
