PLANNING – ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Reports to: Senior Account Director/Business Director
Location: Blend of London offices and remote

Key responsibilities of this role:
Client service
- Key day to day contact responsible for planning OOH solutions on behalf of all of Kinetic’s agencies and clients - working closely with clients/agencies and media owners to plan and buy campaigns
- Help to ensure the team are providing clients/agencies with the highest level of service, delivering on agreed criteria and KPIs
- Help deliver departmental objectives, grow billings and deliver business opportunities
- Showcase best practice planning to the team and monitor quality of output
- Build excellent rapport and relationships with media owners
- Monitor spend commitments with key media owners to ensure targets are met and value delivered to agencies
- Demonstrate knowledgeable opinion on vendor news and activity
- Resolve challenging client issues as well as any internal team issues
- Develop new ways of servicing the needs of clients and agencies and delegates responsibility accordingly
- Working to place creativity at the heart of our offering – either through promoting data led planning via Aureus or driving innovation and technology
- Involved in Client Audits and working with Trading and Investment
Commercials
- Promote all Kinetic’s offerings, including our SBUs, communicating benefits to agencies and clients to drive revenue
- Identify opportunities for growth and ways of driving additional revenue
- Check teams are delivering on all elements of service charters and updating booking systems to ensure campaign systems are up to date
- Demonstrate regular and effective use of all Kinetic and industry tools and systems and training others where applicable, enhancing where applicable
- Develop in-depth understanding of Kinetic’s 4D planning philosophy and ensure this is followed at all times by team members and they are using all elements of the planning process
- Promote and collaborate with partners (internal team and clients and agencies) to educate the team on the benefits of converging OOH with mobile, digital, social and more established media
People
- Manage and motivate their team to ensure they are delivering effective OOH solutions for clients
- Oversee Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and the development of Account Executives
- Positively motivate the team and lead by example
- Act as mentor and sounding board for more junior staff
- Contribute to the wider Kinetic business - helping with training, forums, agency initiatives, business opportunities, developing others, developing tools and systems, creative ideas, internal and external events etc.
- Get involved in the wider Kinetic initiatives – All In Groups (Green Team, Team Roots, Team Pride, Team Enable, Mental Health Allies) and events

We’d really like it if you had:
• Good understanding and use of MS Office /Windows – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Confidence to use internal technical tools – pick up new technology and systems well and adapt to change (digital/technical skills)
• Excellent understanding of social media and internet
