Description

Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a full-time Millwright who will be working in our St. Marys, PA location.  This person will report to Maintenance Manager. 
 
Job Duties and Responsibilities 
  • To efficiently build, inspect, repair, tryout and adjust equipment such as furnaces, gas crackers, heat treaters, compressors, pumps, boilers, cooling towers, atmosphere lines, nitrogen and hydrogen tanks, pollution equipment and manufacturing equipment where complexity is a major factor
  • To efficiently be able to do welding, torch cutting, brazing and flame spray
  • To accurately make parts and fixtures needed
  • To efficiently install, maintain ad troubleshoot essential service systems and equipment such as gas, water, heat, ventilation, sanitary and air compressors where complexity is a major factor
  • To know and follow procedures applicable to this job classification
  • Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information
  • Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to insure results
  • Provide active input to continuous process improvement
  • Effectively communicate job related information to co-workers, supervisors and others with a need to know
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas
  • Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function of this position
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years’ experience preferred
 
Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, competencies and location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation and benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
