 The team at Kenneth Cole is looking for a sales lead to join our team and support our concept store in NYC. The sales lead will act in sales generation, operations, and human resource functions of the store to ensure maximum profitability and compliance with company procedures, which will enable the store to meet and exceed the sales goals. Additionally, the sales lead will help create a highly productive environment for associates to produce an elevated client experience conducive to increasing top line to support the Kenneth Cole brand and mission value.

  • Achieve and exceed store and personal sales goals through Kenneth Cole’s KPI’s metrics including, Average Dollar per Transactions (ADT), Units per Transactions (UPT) and Sales per Hour (SPH)
  • Ensure the Customer Service Mission Statement is executed consistently and personally leads by example
  • Analyze reports (Sell Through and Force Ranking), communicate appropriate information to business partners to maximize business opportunities and improve store profit
  • Assist with merchandise including but not limited to shipment, replenishment, and omni-channel operations,
  • Ensures all store staff complies with all Company initiatives: Training Programs, Selling Programs, Manager on Duty Program, Target Shrink Program, Payroll Procedure, Dress Code
  • Complies with all Company direction on merchandise presentation and marketing standards
  • Ensure accuracy of Company in store promotions and merchandise markdowns
  • Assists in management of inventory shipping and receiving procedures
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Assist and attend all store meetings
  • Work with all associates in the store to maintain a professional and productive work environment
  • Supervise Sales Associates assigned to the store
  • Professionally interacts with all levels of Management and Human Resources in the organization
  • Work with all associates in store to maintain a professional and productive work environment
  • Adheres to all Company Policy and Procedures
  • Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws
  • Professionally interacts with all levels of Management and Corporate Human Resources


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' previous customer service experience with 1-2 years in a leadership role (luxury and/or specialty retail preferred)
  • Loyal customer base or experience with clienteling (preferred)
  • Accuracy with money handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with staff and customers alike
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
  • Ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs (depending upon store design)
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise and boxes throughout the store weighing 0 – 40 pounds, as well as continuous standing, walking, squatting, and bending
