 HOW THE JOB WORKS

The team at Kenneth Cole is looking for a sales associate to join our team and support our pop up-store in NYC. The sales associate will influence and assist the customer through their buying journey that will satisfy the customer’s needs. Additionally, the sales associate will help drive and achieve the store goals and further support the Kenneth Cole brand and mission value.

 HOW YOU WORK
  • Achieve and exceed store and personal sales goals through Kenneth Cole’s KPI’s metrics including, Average Dollar per Transactions (ADT), Units per Transactions (UPT) and Sales per Hour (SPH)
  • Engagement with the customer in accordance with the customer service mission statement standards
  • Effectively demonstrates and adheres to all Company initiatives: ACT Training, Footwear Selling Program, Target Shrink Program, Manager on Duty (MOD), Area of Responsibility (AOR), Clientele Program, Dress Code
  • Process all Point of Sale (POS) transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Process all returns and exchanges professionally
  • Follow up with customer charge sends, repairs, and holds
  • Maintains Company merchandise presentation and marketing standards
  • Ensure accuracy of Company in store promotions and merchandise markdowns
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain store security, safety, and loss prevention initiatives
  • Assist in inventory preparation and execution
  • Work with all associates in store to maintain a professional and productive work environment
  • Adheres to all Company Policy and Procedures
  • Adheres to all local, state, and federal laws
  • Professionally interacts with all levels of Management and Corporate Human Resources

 HOW YOUR PAST WORKS FOR US (required)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' previous customer service experience (luxury retail preferred)
  • Loyal customer base or experience with clienteling (preferred)
  • Accuracy with money handling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with staff and customers alike
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation and reports
  • Ability to perform fundamental mathematical calculations
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs (depending upon store design)
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise and boxes throughout the store weighing 0 – 40 pounds, as well as continuous standing, walking, squatting, and bending
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to support business needs
