About the Opportunity
Kantata is the leading PSA platform purpose-built for professional services organisations, and we are entering a period of significant growth. With the recent launch of our Expertise Engine — Kantata’s embedded AI solution — we are bringing genuinely differentiated technology to market at exactly the right moment.
This Senior Solutions Engineer role sits at the centre of that momentum. You will be the technical and strategic heart of complex deals across EMEA, partnering directly with Account Executives to shape strategy, lead consultative discovery, and bring Kantata’s value to life for the senior leaders who matter most. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will work alongside a team of Account Executives covering enterprise accounts across EMEA. You will support deals typically in the £100K–£1M+ ARR range, engaging across operational, technical, and C-suite stakeholders to position Kantata as the definitive platform for professional services organisations.

Deal Partnership & Strategy
Shape deal strategy in partnership with Account Executives, including business problem framing, success criteria definition, and executive messaging
Deliver high-impact, consultative demonstrations that connect customer objectives to Kantata’s differentiated value
Lead and contribute to RFP/RFI responses that uniquely position Kantata as the best vendor to solve customer challenges
Influence buying committees across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders throughout the sales cycle
Consultative Discovery & Industry Insight
Lead discovery that uncovers organisational structure, decision dynamics, revenue models, and growth strategy
Identify operational challenges, constraints, and KPIs that Kantata is uniquely positioned to address
Apply deep professional services industry knowledge to anticipate objections and guide solution design
Translate customer complexity into clear, compelling solution narratives that resonate at every level
What You Bring
Experience: Requires 3+ years in a Solutions Engineering or technical pre-sales role, with a proven track record navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.
Executive Presence: Demands a powerful presence when leading value-driven presentations to the C-suite and senior leaders, with the ability to command credibility without formal authority.
AI & Technology: Highly values demonstrated experience positioning and demonstrating AI-powered solutions, including architecture-level conversations with technical buyers.
Domain Knowledge: Looks for familiarity with the Professional Services industry; experience with PSA, ERP, or services management platforms is a strong advantage.
SaaS & Enterprise IT: Requires a deep understanding of SaaS delivery models and common enterprise IT requirements, such as security, integration, and scalability.
Languages (EMEA Coverage): Business-level fluency in German, French, or Spanish is a significant advantage for European territory coverage:
German: Preferred for DACH territory coverage.
French or Spanish: Valued for Southern and Western Europe.

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus commission. Full details — including OTE and accelerators — will be shared during the interview process.
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days in our London office
This role requires 25% travel
