Job Summary

Collaborate with internal resources to gather, write, and publish product documentation for both internal and external audiences. Produce top-quality content and education material, leveraging a variety of media and communication formats. Create engaging and impactful learning experiences by enabling Eddy users to acquire the recommended knowledge, skills, and competencies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Research, write, edit, and revise product documents and content that is both engaging and accessible to an audience with varying levels of product knowledge and domain expertise.
  • Write product documentation from product and technical specifications, discussions with engineers and product managers, and hands-on experimentation and simulation directly in the product.
  • Create customer resources and product education materials and media, including instructional text, step-by-step user guides, videos or GIFs, annotated screenshots, FAQ, and more!
  • Edit content and documentation for consistency, continuously updating material with current information to ensure a quality experience for our customers in the face of an ever-evolving digital product.
  • Publish regular Release Notes to internal and external stakeholders with information on product updates, releases, and fixes.
  • Design and maintain the product learning architecture (structure and sequence of course curriculum) and determine product learning objectives.
  • Develop learning activities and compelling course content in-line with learning objectives for the product e-Learning program.
  • Design exercises and assignments that enrich the product learning experience.
  • Plan, schedule, and track product content and documentation work required to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
  • Create e-Learning evaluation tools to measure program effectiveness and user engagement.
  • Create and maintain a library of product documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external (customer-facing) use.
  • Publish and maintain templates for product documentation (inc. RFI/RFP responses), ensuring a consistent “look and feel”.

  • Descriptive, accurate, and up-to-date product documentation

  Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience in airline revenue management
  • Excellent English language proficiency
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly for multiple audiences, using either formal or casual tones
  • Thorough, detailed-oriented with an obsessive eye for consistency and accuracy
  • Desire and ability to innovate and improve upon current processes
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize complex content
  • Experience in writing documentation for audiences of different levels of product understanding and domain expertise
  • Experience creating infographics (process diagrams, graphs, etc.) to clearly communicate workflow processes and abstract topics
  • Solid project management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of varied learning styles
  • Experience in presenting product or technical information in a live setting, such as classroom training, presentations, video conference, etc. [bonus, not required]
  • Working experience in instructional design and knowledge of learning theories [bonus, not required]
  • Experience in prioritizing and understanding the lifecycle of documentation from pre-release through on-going maintenance [bonus, not required]

 Key Performance Drivers

  • Completion of user documentation stream including release notes, user documentation and the training platform of the Kambr product suite
  • On-time and quality delivery of documentation updates with the Kambr Software Delivery Life Cycle
  • Delivery metrics (i.e., customer satisfaction, utilization and stakeholder satisfaction)
