Apprentice Automotive Technician / Tire, Brake and Alignment Technician

Sparwood, BC

You’ll gain real experience on the tools, with the training and support to keep progressing through your apprenticeship. Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, repair, and balance tires for passenger and light truck vehicles
  • Perform brake services, shock replacements, and wheel alignments
  • Assist with inspections and basic mechanical services (oil, lube and filter)
  • Diagnose tire and basic mechanical issues with support from the team
  • Operate shop equipment, including alignment and flush machines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and use PPE at all times

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an Automotive Technician program or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and movement
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
  • Committed to working safely
