Accounts Payable Inventory Administrator I

The Accounts Payable Inventory Administrator I is responsible for supporting the AP Inventory Team to ensure invoices are loaded accurately and completely into the supplier AP ledgers, proper reconciliations are completed on time and outages are investigated and rectified. The position is based in Vernon office with Hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:

  • Process AP invoices in PeopleSoft and Excel
  • Maintain standard corrections for customers on the inventory matching program, escalate when required
  • Assist with the reconciliation of GL accounts and customer statements for small to medium suppliers
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Ensure all invoices are entered into the systems
Work Experience:
  • 1-2 years’ Accounts Payable experience or combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
Education:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent (e.g. GED)
Special Requirements:
  • Overtime may be required for accounting deadlines

Negotiable Requirement:

  • Certificate or diploma in accounting or bookkeeping
