Assistant Store Manager 

Due to the consistent growth, Kal Tire is hiring a versatile Assistant Store Manager in Brandon, MB to join our store leadership team. You will have to make influence, and persuade others to fit into a strong cultured team at this store. You will be process-driven, develop teams, and demonstrate visible leadership skills. You will bring an entrepreneurial spirit with exceptional drive and dedication to ensure Kal Tire's location is running in an efficient, profitable, and safe environment for team members, customers, and guests.

YOU HAVE FOR US:

  • You bring 2+ years of direct management experience in the customer service industry
  • You bring 2+ years of previous knowledge and experience in retail and/or the automotive industry
  • You set the standard of excellence in all key operating areas: Sales and Service, Operations; Financial Performance; Safety and Environment and Team Leadership
  • You act as a champion for creating a culture of safety taking a proactive approach to accident prevention and environmental protection
  • You have the ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift
  • You guarantee adherence to sales processes and practices by ensuring all team members have in-depth product knowledge while creating a culture of True Service
  • You have a proven successful track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships with local and neighbouring markets
  • You are constantly reviewing inventory levels to improve standard procedures continuously
  • You are very energetic, hands-on, capable of handling conflicts, and adaptable the change management.
  • You are dedicated to creating a culture of career development that supports an environment meant to guide team members’ learning through hands-on mentoring, training and development
  • Ability to travel by company vehicle to neighbouring locations to conduct business
  • Grade 12 or GED

EDUCATION AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school diploma: postgraduate diploma or degree or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to relocate within the region.
