What’s the role?

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Pickup and Delivery Driver is responsible for daily pickup and delivery of tires, wheels, and parts in the surrounding community of the store location. When no tires or wheels need to be shipped, you will gain training on safely performing tire removals, installations, and repairs for passenger and light truck vehicles. This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating, installing repaired or replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to procedure.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • You like being active throughout your day and have no problem lifting 30-50 lb. tires as needed.
  • Physically demanding work (moving tires/wheels).
  • Strong communication skills, with the desire and ability to deliver exceptional customer service experience.
  • Contribute to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace by following all safety and environmental policies and rules and taking an active approach to accident prevention and environmental protection.
  • Contribute to an upbeat atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and providing assistance to other team members.

 

Success and Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • You are able to drive a 3-ton truck.
  • Ideally, you have 1-2 years of experience in a delivery role.
  • You’re always safety conscious and follow safe work protocols as instructed.
  • Motivated, positive attitude, help to facilitate a respectful work environment, and work with team members in a positive atmosphere.
