Description

As a OTR Tire Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you'll support all stages of Kal Tire’s OTR retread and repair operation. From unloading and loading tires to moving products throughout the facility using forklifts and specialized tire manipulators, assisting with tire repairs, and completing inventory and administrative tasks, you'll play a key role in keeping production moving safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, organize, and ship OTR tires and related products
  • Assist with OTR tire inspection, repair, and retreading activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete shipping/receiving documentation
  • Perform data entry and other administrative duties as required
  • Keep the warehouse, shop, and yard clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Willingness to learn specialized equipment, including OTR tire manipulators and industrial forklifts
  • Comfortable working with large OTR tires in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn tire repair and retreading processes
  • Commitment to working safely at all times
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Guaranteed bonus: $500+ per month
  • Monday-Friday day shift. Full time hours within 7am-5pm
