Kal Tire is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Part time, Shipping and Receiving Specialist at our Barrie, ON location. Day to Day Responsibilities
- Daily Shipping and Receiving: Efficiently manage the incoming and outgoing flow of tires and wheels.
- Physical Stamina: Excel in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and movement throughout the shift.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping area, contributing to the overall organization of the store's warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Prepare inventory for monthly counts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications and Success
- Hold a clean and valid driver’s license.
- Prioritize safety and contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- Ability to lift and maneuver large tires.
- Shipping and receiving work experience is a plus.
- Double-checking orders, ensuring correct labeling, and inspecting received goods for damage are all vital tasks.
- Efficiently managing inventory, maintaining records, and coordinating shipments require strong organizational abilities.
