Automotive Service Technician (Journeyperson/Journeyman)

As an Automotive Service Technician, you'll perform a wide range of mechanical services, diagnostics, and repairs on passenger and light truck vehicles. You'll work alongside a skilled team, support apprentice development, and play an important role in delivering safe, reliable service to our customers.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of passenger and light truck vehicles
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, and mechanical repair work to a high standard
- Diagnose mechanical concerns and recommend appropriate repair solutions
- Mentor and support apprentices, helping develop their technical skills and confidence
- Work closely with service advisors and team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Identify additional service opportunities that support vehicle safety and performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
Requirements
- Journeyperson/Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and maintenance
- Strong experience with brakes, suspension, steering, and wheel alignments
- Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to mentor apprentices and contribute positively to the team
- Safety-focused with a professional and customer-oriented approach
