Description

As a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills in servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This role provides hands-on training and mentorship, ensuring you gain the expertise needed for a successful career in the trade. This full-time, permanent position is available at our Edmonton, Alberta store.

Responsibilities 

  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting
  • Work with a team to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Learn to use specialized tools and equipment effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and guidelines

 

Qualifications and Success 

  • Currently enrolled in a Heavy-Duty Mechanic Apprenticeship program
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license
