Role Description
The Accounts Payable Inventory Administrator II is responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable (“AP”) Inventory Team to ensure invoices are loaded accurately and completely into the supplier AP ledgers, proper reconciliations are completed on time, outages are investigated and rectified, payments are prepared correctly, and tasks are up to date. The position is based in Vernon office with hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
• Process AP invoices in PeopleSoft and Excel
• Maintain standard corrections for customers on the inventory matching program, escalate when required
• Prepare payments with appropriate due dates and discounts for small to medium suppliers
• Reconcile GL accounts and customer statements for small to medium suppliers
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Ensure all invoices are entered into the systems
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
Work Experience
• 2-4 year’s Accounts Payable experience or combination of education and experience
Education
• Grade 12 or equivalent or GED.
Negotiable Requirements
• Certificate or diploma in accounting or bookkeeping.
