Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a fast-moving, safety-driven team? Kal Tire is looking for a Warehouse Maintenance & Yard Coordinator with a valid AZ licence to work on site at our Amaranth warehouse, just west of Orangeville, ON.
This hands-on role offers variety and flexibility, with opportunities to support both yard operations and warehouse maintenance. It’s perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly, staying active throughout the day, and contributing to a safe and organized work environment.
What You’ll Do:
Yard Operations
- Safely operate shunt trucks and mobile equipment to move trailers, sea cans, and yard chassis.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and light maintenance, reporting repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate yard and container records and coordinate movements with warehouse leadership.
- Support property upkeep, including snow removal and keeping the yard organized and safe.
Warehouse Maintenance
- Perform routine warehouse maintenance, including racking, pallets, and minor facility repairs.
- Ensure forklifts and other equipment are charged, inspected, and ready for daily use.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe, supporting efficient operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and lock-out protocols to maintain a hazard-free yard and warehouse.
- Take an active role in preventing incidents by reporting hazards, near misses, or accidents immediately.
- Ensure all equipment and work areas are inspected and maintained to meet safety standards.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Valid class 1/AZ license and has a clean driving record.
- Has 1–2 years of shunt truck experience or 2–3 years of driving experience.
- Has experience with warehouse or equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining a safe, organized environment.
- Has the physical stamina to work outdoors year-round and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Is comfortable using Excel or other basic computer programs for record keeping.
