Account Executive

Marketing Blue Ash, Ohio

1. Business Development (70%)
• Proactively seek out, engage and develop new business opportunities within named strategic accounts by employing various sales tactics (35%)
• Foster strategic relationships with current med-tech clients in order to proactively lead account development efforts within the med-tech portfolio (25%)
• Leverage our Global Partners Account and Delivery Teams to open new accounts (10%)
• Educate current and prospective clients by presenting and promoting the extensive service offerings of Kaleidoscope
• Gain a thorough understanding of the client’s business needs in order to provide the appropriate solutions/services
• Serve as a liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts; manage ongoing conference calls and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts. Participate in regular status reports/updates.
• Develop account plans and define sales growth strategies for key accounts while aligning with assigned sales objectives
• Meets or exceeds defined sales objectives/goals
2. Reporting/Administrative (20%)
• Maintain contacts and report sales activities in Salesforce CRM database
• Produce and deliver sales presentations that highlight Kaleidoscope’s unique capabilities
• Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Statements of Work (SOW) that highlight Kaleidoscope’s unique capabilities
• Remain current with technologies, trends, brands, competitors, etc. and demonstrates an attitude of continuous improvement

3. Collaboration (10%)
• Partner with other members of the sales team to ensure departmental goals and objectives are attained
• Effectively interface with the operational design teams including product designers, interaction designers, engineers, developers, visualization designers, researchers and project managers. Understand how and when to bring in resources, both internal and external and how to communicate the vision to them in an actionable way

• Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related fields, preferred
• Prior sales experience in the med-tech industry, required
• Prior experience 8-10 years, selling services, required
• Proven success identifying prospective clients, establishing contacts and closing business deals
• Proven success developing business from existing accounts
• Utilizes negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Displays professional presentation, communication and writing skills (responds to RFP’s and develops proposals)
• Strong organizational skills; able to set priorities while being responsive to internal and external stakeholders
• Drives and maintains client relationships (requires empathetic listening, strategic thinking and effective story telling)
• Prioritizes and completes tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and clients
• Critical thinker demonstrated by checking thinking for clarity, accuracy, precision, relevance, depth, breadth, significance, logic, and fairness
• Remains motivated to accomplish goals in the face of obstacles or adversity
• Understands the needs and desires of prospective clients and uses this knowledge to help them sustain an emotional connection and motivate them to take action
• Handles sensitive information and maintain highest level of confidentiality
• Fluent in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
