JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Insights and Human Factors, the Human Factors Intern will assist the Insights department staff with various projects and provide administrative support as needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical Writing (20%)
• Writing research protocols and presentations/reports
• Copy editing protocols as needed for clarity and formatting
• Utilizes the format for research study protocols
2. Data Analysis (20%)
• Look for trends, themes, and frequency of data
• Reports on research study protocol data
3. Administrative Support (60%)
• Provides support as needed to all members of the Insights team as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
• At least one year completed work towards bachelor’s degree in Human Factors or related engineering degree preferred
• Open to Human Factors related majors such as Psychological Sciences as well with one year completed towards major.

Skills/Specialized Knowledge/Abilities
• Good writing skills, with concise writing conveying clear thoughts
• Proper use of grammar
• Analytical and logical thinking
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Understands human capabilities and limitations, both physical and cognitive
• Organized, detail-oriented
