Senior Project Manager
KAI Partners is looking for a client-focused Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 8 years of Project Management experience. This includes the business processes, systems, reporting, and analytical needs of the organization enabling operational efficiency. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter and problem-solver who thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project.
This is a hybrid remote/organized remote position; the selected candidate must reside in the Sacramento area and be available to be onsite at the client's location in Sacramento several times each month.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support clients in enhancing health programs, including pharmacy programs.
- Identify where process and system problems exist and develop and implement plans to remedy the problems.
- Provide regular reports to client leadership on program status, risks, and issues.
- Identify needs that clients may not recognize, and ensuing approaches and solutions linked to objectives and future needs.
- Continuously manage client expectations to ensure delivery of the highest quality service, while soliciting and acting on client feedback.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, patience and dedication when working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of Pharmacy programs and benefit configurations is desirable.
- Ability to identify process and system problems.
- Strong analytical, critical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Pro-active self-starter who is comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines simultaneously, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Work/Education Experience:
- 7+ years of project or program management experience applying principles, methods, techniques, and tools. (Preferably in a healthcare and/or pharmacy environment)
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP)Certification, Project Management Institute (PMI) (preferred).
Compensation Range: $130,000 – $154,000
The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
