Managed Information Technology Manager

KAI Partners, Inc. (KAIP) is currently seeking a Managed Information Technology Manager to supervise and manage a team that provides support services for computer hardware, software, database management systems, internet servers, and telecommunications systems, in addition to overseeing internal IT support functions and MSP customers, conducting research, and making recommendations for the selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. They will work with the team to ensure that they are performing to their full potential and that department, division, and strategic goals and objectives are met.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  

  • Manages, facilitates, and participates in company and team-level strategy initiatives.
  • Administers overall policies and goals for the MIT Department.
  • Analyzes company technology requirements to determine ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems recommendations. 
  • Identify opportunities, risks, recommend, develop, implement, and support industry-leading digital and technology solutions.
  • Primary owner of MIT Department’s relationships with technical partners and vendors.
  • Serve as a working project manager for projects and programs related to MIT.
  • Directly partner with the marketing team to support the development of marketing strategies for the MIT Department with appropriate digital capabilities as part of the coordinated plan.
  • Work with the finance dept to review cost reporting and budget tracking to ensure compliance with organizational goals, guidelines, and objectives.
  • Actively support the resolution of ambiguous, complex problems that cross organizational boundaries. 
  • Ensure that project and department measurements and goals are met.
  • Bring issues, risks, assessments, and solutions to the division director.
  • Create business cases for potential custom software development and work with Technology and Operations Division Director and the leadership team to determine investment viability.
  • Manage and provide direction and mentorship to a growing team including human resource activities, onboarding, termination, or transitions.
  • Responsible for coachable behavior and escalation to the Technology and Operations Division Director.
  • Ensure that all components of the IT infrastructure are maintained appropriately.
  • Develop and maintain standard and subscription reports for obtaining statistics and demographics from the organization’s software suite.
  • Actively develop new approaches and opportunities for expanding the customer base.
  • Document software policies, procedures, data standards, flows, and change orders for new or revised database functions.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Work/Education Experience

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, electronic technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience in a related information technology role.
  • Experience with software development life cycle.
  • Fluency in business case development and enterprise resource planning.

Compensation Range: $137,000 - $167,000

The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
