Program Manager

KAI Partners is presently seeking multiple Program Managers, known for their exceptional organization and attention to detail. These individuals will be responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring smooth operational execution within their assigned scope. Their roles involve developing the program's strategy, defining, and achieving goals and objectives, and consistently evaluating program progress and success. They will work closely and collaboratively with the executive team to elevate organizational maturity and ensure adherence to KAIP standards in program delivery.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct bi-weekly meeting updates and evaluations, as well as create reporting and communication materials.
  • Manage project interdependence and risks, compare, and assess departmental workstreams, and make recommendations for streamlining and sharing information for similar departmental efforts.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure that program development activities are coordinated and linked between the client workstream and other client department workstreams.
  • Keep track of client project milestones, issues, and risks.
  • Complete and timely monthly status reports with client-specific data from all departments are required.
  • Provide stakeholder and communication management to assist client leadership in determining communication channels and what information can be shared productively across departmental workstreams to maximize the benefit of information sharing and manage the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain an integrated program management roadmap in collaboration with other departments, provide real-time updates, and advise on and assist with overall project implementation.
  • Apply change management techniques and processes for client change management work.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

 Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in a behavioral health, healthcare, or mental health environment which included some all or some of the following: policy, operations, direct services, and stakeholder engagement experience. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Experience managing confidential and private information with discretion, judgment, and diplomacy.
  • Experience in communicating and interacting with executive-level personnel.
  • Strong skills with MS Suite of products, presentations, and project management tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Able to adapt to change and thrive with minimal direction, work under pressure, and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Demonstrates uses of listening and questioning techniques to understand issues and problems.
  • Presents ideas effectively one-to-one or in small to large groups adapting style to audience while using appropriate business language and grammar.
  • Develop a professional network to support and add value to client engagements, including within KAIP, client organizations, and external professional networks.
  • Proactively seeks feedback and incorporates related information into the assigned scope of work.
  • Demonstrates a good general knowledge of political, economic, social, technological, legal, and environmental factors.

KAIP is looking for several Program Managers with different Subject Matter Expertise especially the following:

Work/Education Experience:   

· 5+ years’ experience, in program management (required)
· 5+ years’ experience in education/higher education
· Experience with Fi$Cal
· Experience with California Department of Technology PAL Process Levels 1 through 4
· Project Management Certification (PMP) from PMI (Required)
· Certified Scrum Master, CSM
· Certified Scrum product owner, CSPO
· Six Sigma Green Belt

Compensation Range: $121,000 – $170,000

The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
