We are seeking a Project Manager/New Product Integration in California to be a member of our New Product field deployments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or MS in EE, ME or other relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the residential and commercial construction sector delivering new products and services.
  • Excellent project management skills to oversee project timelines, plans, budgets, resource allocation, scope, and definition.
  • Relevant experience with PV and energy storage systems.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking capabilities.
  • Experienced in data-based decision making and Communicate clearly and concisely with peers, business partners, technical staff and leadership via appropriate medium: verbal/written/presentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Ability to work well independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Confluence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Residential and Commercial Field Beta Activities.
  • Manage and maintain the NPI Field Beta Activities for both hardware and software betas.
  • Coordinate with Product Program Managers and Product Managers for the development and execution of Beta and General Release Launch Schedules.
  • Participate in Hardware and Software Stage Gate meetings.
  • Identify Beta Sites, installers, AHJ’s and Utilities to accelerate beta installation schedules.
  • Design, maintain, and execute field Beta observation processes, including field visits and customer interviews.
  • Maintain a Residential and Commercial NPI checklist to ensure effective product adoption.
  • Coordinate with Installation Partners the installation of new products on time.
  • Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects.
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to all product launch process and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Analyze and recommend corrective action in case of timeline misses.
  • Coordinate with senior management and maintain a knowledgebase for NPI activities and incorporate them into the corporate Product Life Cycle Process.
  • Improve and Document NPI process.
