DEI Project Manager
 
KAI Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DEI Project Manager. This role is responsible for developing and managing Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIBs) initiatives for our clients that align with their organizational goals. This includes creating strategies, measuring program effectiveness through data analysis, fostering engagement and collaboration, and ensuring impactful communication. The project manager provides leadership development, support, and training while partnering with stakeholders to drive meaningful changes and advance inclusion efforts across the organization.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIBs) initiatives that align with organizational values and objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing tools, resources, and expert guidance to ensure the success and sustainability of their programs.
  • Establish key performance metrics to measure the success of DIBs programs, focusing on teammate engagement, participation rates, and representation.
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in DIBs’ efforts.
  • Create and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders, showcasing program outcomes and areas for enhancement.
  • Design and implement a communication strategy to promote DIBs efforts, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across platforms.
  • Act as a key liaison between leadership, DIBs teams, and other stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration across the organization.
  • Stay current on best practices and trends in diversity and inclusion, integrating these insights into organizational strategies.
  • Provide continuous support and resources to leaders and teams, empowering them to lead meaningful, impactful changes.
  • Deliver leadership development and facilitation training, and enhance influence and effectiveness within the organization.
  • Partners with internal teams and external consultants design and implement workshops and learning sessions that advance organizational diversity and inclusion goals.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
 Skills and Qualifications: 
 
  • Strong skills in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute impactful communication strategies.
Work/Education Experience:   
  • Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with the principles and practices of DEI. (Required)
  • Project Management Professional (PMI) (Required)
  • DEI Experience in Government (Required)
Compensation Range: $130,000 – $154,000
 
The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
