Our Client’s C&I Sales Supervisor will be responsible for hiring, leading and training C&I salespeople who call on installers who primarily sell commercial. The position will closely collaborate with the Residential Sales Directors, FAEs, C&I product group, Operations and Customer Service.  This pivotal role will be responsible for driving C&I revenue and servicing partners and customers.  The ideal candidate has small commercial solar sales experience and a unique blend of business, technical, and leadership skills. S/he will establish plans and strategies to expand the C&I business including the 2021 go to market for the IQ8D in order to serve the existing customer business and grow a new customer base. The position is a home office position.


  • Hire, train and lead the US C&I sales team
  • Develops and executes small commercial go to market plan including segmentation, primary target market definition and value proposition
  • Collaborate with and coach existing residential team in developing and closing small commercial projects and sharing best practices
  • Creates and executes 6 quarter forecasts and reports weekly and monthly on sales and opportunities status
  • Works with Product Line Management to represent the voice of the customer in order to develop the right products for Americas C&I

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Successful track record of C&I solar sales to installers
  • Proven ability to gain a price premium thru consultative selling
  • Possesses a minimum of 10 years sales experience to channel partners
  • Demonstrably strong negotiation and influencing skills; commercially astute.
  • Entrepreneurial personality with a hands-on attitude.
  • Demonstrates strategic vision and planning capabilities.
  • Understands, with clarity, key internal/external business and technical issues
  • Quantitative and results driven professional who can adapt to rapidly changing environments
  • Salesforce experience a plus
  • 30-50% travel
