At Wunderman Thompson, our Project Management team is in the driver’s seat for how work gets through our office and out the door.  Project Management is the hub that drives all teams and departments through the process of all project deliverables.

A Day In the Life:

  • Collaborate with Account Supervisors, Creative, Resource Managers and Producers to manage concurrent projects from the earliest concept stage to deployment and ensure allprojects are flawlessly executed
  • Develop and manage project timelines and budgets based on hours needed to complete the Scope of Work with oversight from department leads
  • Oversee Associate Project Manager on day-to-day functions while providing opportunities for learning and development
  • Manage repeatable workflows to best suit projects, set expectations, enforce deadlines and alert the Senior Project Manager or Operations Director of issues
  • Partner with Resource Manager to forecast workload and resourcing needs and communicate with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Engage and manage appropriate talent and resource allocation at critical milestones within project plans
  • Foster strong relationships with Production teams to ensure consistency and overall project success
  • Cultivate a nuanced understanding of action steps and responsibilities for all tasks within the creative development and production processes and ensure all deliverable hours and timelines are included in briefs 
What You’ll Need:
  • Let’s start with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 3 to 6 years of experience in project management at an agency or related environment. Surprise us with the equivalent!
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPointand project managements tools (ie. Basecamp, Traffic, Microsoft Project, etc)
  • An action-oriented entrepreneurial spirit and a laser focus on the outcome, not just on the process
  • Expertise in Print, Out-of-Home, Broadcast and Digital production
  • The ability to break projects into small pieces – identify project requirements and deliverables
  • Proficiency in project scoping, project planning, timeline creation and resource management
  • An acute attention to detail and accuracy to ensure all materials are of the highest quality
  • Genuine enthusiasm and curiosity about the advertising business, project management, emerging media and technology
