Job Description

JumpCrew is seeking a Content Manager to join our Marketing Team. This person will be directly responsible for building and delivering content for  our clients, including (but not limited to) various web properties, blogs, white papers and sales collateral pieces. Our marketing strategy is focused on creating valuable, relevant, and consistent content that attracts and retains a clearly defined audience and augments the SEO strategy of our clients. 

Responsibilities 

  • Craft compelling content for our clients’ digital marketing properties. 
  • Responsible for writing copy of ads, land pages, marketing and sales material.
  • Supervise a pool of freelance and internal resources, setting direction, ensuring quality of work, and providing daily guidance as needed. 
  • Incorporate SEO with content creation- we’re looking for somebody who enjoys doing topic research prior to writing, seeing what is ranking on search engines, keyword usage within the post, meta descriptions, blog URL slug creation.
  • Help develop product positioning statements and supporting materials including collateral, case studies and videos.
  • Measure of impact/success of all content marketing programs and activities.  
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing metrics to gain insight to assess against goals and make recommendations to drive improvement and identify new opportunities.
  • Occasionally interact directly with clients, providing strategic direction and guidance driven by analysis of clients’ key metrics, review of client strategies, and command of industry best practices around content design and development.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years digital marketing experience, with a focus on creating and delivering great content.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience. 
  • Strong writing skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress a plus.
  • Ability to implement best SEO practices in relation to content creation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • Strategic mindset combined with pragmatic, can-do approach.
  • Ability to manage relationships with team members from different functional areas and professional backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage external (i.e., freelance) resources effectively.
  • Ability to pivot often and adapt quickly.
  • Creative individual who can dream up unique and engaging content ideas
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Solid, well rounded knowledge of overall digital marketing best practices.
