Family Resource Center Family Partner – Grant Funded Salaried Position 

Justice Resource Institute has an opening for a full-time Family Partner at the Family Resource Center [FRC]. We are looking for a committed human services worker with lived experience as a caregiver who has had to navigate supports and resources for their child’s social and emotional challenges; and who is now interested drawing from their personal and professional experience to build a community dedicated to serving children, adults, and families.  Family Partner will be working closely with a Clinician and other FRC staff onsite for the purpose of providing standardized screening, assessment, service planning and referral services for families seeking services. Family Partner will also facilitate (alongside a Clinician) family and youth groups.  This position allows for creativity and flexibility with the unique opportunity to be involved in programmatic planning and launch of an exciting new resource for Northshore families! 

Bilingual a plus!! We offer a $1000 bilingual annual bonus to any candidate who speaks, reads and writes in a different language other than English. As well as a sign on bonus!

Requirements: 

  • Applicants must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in a human services field and 1 year of experience working with the target population; or a high school diploma/GED and 2 years of experience working with the target population.
  • Applicants should have lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with emotional, behavioral or learning challenges and experience accessing systems for support for your child’s needs.
  • Be available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as necessary. Available during regular business hours of the Family Resource Center. Able to work alone in an unsupervised environment.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
