Who we are looking for: 

Are you the Direct Care Worker we have been looking for? JRI’s Developing Abilities program provides opportunities for people to live in homes and apartments in their communities and to grow through job training, supported employment and day habilitation services. We provide therapeutic and social supports to enrich the lives of people with disabilities.  

We are looking for full and part-time direct care staff members to work in our residential and day programs!

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

JRI provides the training so that:  

  • YOU will provide high quality supports to adults with developmental disabilities.  
  • YOU will be responsible for daily activities of clients. 
  • YOU will implement treatment objectives. 
  • YOU will organize and accompany individuals on community outings.  
  • YOU will maintain case records and perform data collection. 
  • YOU will provide personal care to clients. 
  • YOU will administer medications as required.

Requirements: 

  • Candidates must have experience working with people with developmental disabilities. 
  • Candidates must have the proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing. 
  • Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive agency vehicles. 
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
