Description

Step into a role within our Wholesale Team as an Account Executive, where you will support the team by providing account management to drive sales, profitability and build strong relationships with existing and new customers.

As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Manage National accounts, creating plans to develop and grow
  • Identify & target new business and own the on boarding process for new National Accounts
  • Successfully execute sales appointments, remotely or face to face, influence and challenge buys to achieve budgets
  • Analyze and interrogate customer sales reports to drive in season business
  • Set up & maintenance of seasonal showrooms, close down & trade fairs if required
  • Regularly review customer terms and make proposals to ensure profitability for Joules and the customers
  • Work closely with the Wholesale Opps & credit teams to ensure we deliver the order book & provide a high level of customer service
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale partners and internal stakeholders
  • Support the customer with marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness
  • Ensure our customers are supported with the best VM standards & brand training
  • Support the Product Executive by providing information & market/competitor intel to help the building of future ranges
  • Analyze customer sell in & sell out and with market knowledge support the Demand Planner with product forecasting
  • Willing to support, help and guide other team members when required
  • Accept delegated tasks in support of the team, even if outside of usual remit
  • Work to achieve personal and team objectives
  • Actively participate in team discussions and activities when required
  • Always looking for opportunities to grow the wholesale business
  • Challenge ways of working where you see fit and deliver solutions
  • Contribute ideas and show initiative in continually improving work processes to achieve great efficiency
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • 3 years + Account Management experience in selling to Wholesale partners
  • Success in growing & developing National accounts & on-boarding new business
  • Ability to problem solve, negotiate and make decisions
  • Accurate and excellent standards of written and verbal communication
  • Strong IT skills, full understanding and experience of using Microsoft office. Analytical skills & thinking and good excel knowledge
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, able to priorities and work to deadlines
  • Ability to be proactive & reactive
  • Full driving license & willing to travel
  • Professional approach at all times
  • Understand, show passion for and visually represent the brand at all times
  • Energetic, self motivated, self starter
  • Team player with a positive 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to work as a team and independently
  • Willing to adapt & be flexible to take on new challenges & suggest new ways of working
