Step into a role within our Finance Team as a Finance Supervisor - Cash & Banking where you will be responsible for the supervision of the Banking Team, including management of individual banking team members, overseeing process, controls and reporting and more.

As Finance Supervisor - Cash & Banking you will:

  • Supervise the processing of all bank payments to the highest level of accuracy.
  • Prepare proposed payment runs for review by the Finance Manager.
  • Oversee the set up and non-stock suppliers and ensure checks are carried out on bank details and manage bank validations failure through the Compleat portal.
  • Review of agreed creditor for missed supplier payments.
  • Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of all group bank accounts on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, including controls and reconciliations around receipts across all channels.
  • Supervise the management accounts month end reconciliation process.
  • Liaise with external banks to ensure banking portals are maintained appropriately and deal with all banking queries.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with the forecasting of payments and cash flow balances including foreign currency balances.
  • Raise all PO’s for the Finance Team.
  • Liaise with the AP supervisor to ensure stock queries are resolved before invoices are due for payment.
  • Assist with the daily updates of cash in/out and provide actuals.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in working within a Finance Operations Team, ideally within Banking and payment processing.
  • AAT or similar qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong verbal & written communication.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good level of IT skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
