We are looking for a new GIGAnte to join our team as a DevOps Engineer AWS Junior.
We are looking for a Jr. DevOps Engineer who can handle Level 1 SRE support, where he/she will be able to execute deployments, triage tickets and incidents, and manage user requests.

πŸ‘‰ What You'll Do

  • Level 1 Support:
    Execute build deployments and monitor their success
    Manage user accounts and permissions across tools like Postman, Jira, and GitHub
    Perform initial triage of reported issues and escalate to senior team members when needed

  • Proactive Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor our systems and environment to identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.
    Implement and maintain alerting mechanisms to enhance visibility into system health.

  • Problem-Solving & Research:
    Independently research issues, propose solutions, and contribute to team problem-solving efforts.
    Document resolutions and build knowledge bases for recurring issues.

  • Communication & Collaboration:
    Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, testing, and deployment activities.

    • Familiarity with concepts of version control and tools like GitHub.

    • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.Β 

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves):

  • Experience working with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.

  • Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Jira, and GitHub in a professional setting.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles.
