👉 Summary
We are looking for a new GIGAnte to join our team as a Senior Front End Software Developer. In this role, you will lead complex UI initiatives, evolve design systems, and raise engineering quality across squads. You’ll balance hands-on delivery with technical leadership and mentorship, ensuring that our front ends are accessible, fast, secure, and maintainable, while directly contributing to user and business value.
👉 What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable and performant UI applications using React.js and modern front-end technologies.
- Lead cross-cutting features and own critical front-end domains such as component architecture, performance, accessibility, and security.
- Define and drive engineering standards (coding, testing, CI/CD, reviews) and ensure adoption across teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX, QA, and platform teams to align on solutions, trade-offs, and delivery goals.
- Guide architectural decisions (component structure, SSR/SSG boundaries, API contracts) and provide clear documentation.
- Improve operability and resilience through logging, metrics, tracing, and error handling.
- Mentor and unblock mid- and junior engineers, providing clear and actionable feedback.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
👉 We'll Expect You To Have
- Experience working in distributed/remote teams, with async collaboration.
- Strong background in React.js (preferred).
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with build tools: Vite, Yarn.
- Containerization: Docker.
- Version control: Git/GitHub (branching strategies, PR best practices).
- Testing: Unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
- Advanced English (able to communicate effectively with stakeholders).
- Proven ability to write scalable, maintainable, and performant code.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
👉 Nice to Have
- Experience with mapping and geolocation technologies (Mapbox, OpenLayers, ESRI, Google Maps).
- Server-side development knowledge.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Contributions to open-source libraries and frameworks.
