Hatchery Egg Setter 1st Shift
Description
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $18.50
Key Responsibilities and Account abilities include but are not limited to:
- Mediating damaging any eggs
- Pulling and setting correct eggs for the assigned day
- Keeping up with the flow of production without excessive damage to eggs or machinery
- Setting egg flats with the flow of production
- Remove empty egg buggy and transport to empty egg buggy wash
- Ensure the equipment is running correctly
- All other assigned task
Work Environment/ Physical Demands
- Ability to lift overhead of up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a heated environment, temperatures ranging from 80F to 100F
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion
- Ability to work overtime as assigned
- Frequently: lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reach forward, pulling stretching.
Knowledge, skills, and Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
Experience/ Work History
- Good Hand-Eye Coordination
