Position Title: Boar Stud Driver  

Job Status: Part-time- Hourly

Reports Directly to: Geode Boar Stud Manager

Nature of Position:

Successfully carry out and understand all Standard Operating Procedures under indirect supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Works under the direction of the Geode Boar Stud Manager.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at gas stations and over the road. 
• Follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a vehicle.
• Communicate with the Geode Boar Stud Manager with any issues.
• Meet delivery deadlines. 
• Demonstrate commitment to the job and all assigned responsibilities.
• All Other Duties as Assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license is required (must maintain a safe driving record).
• Must have a good driving record.
• Knowledge of how to handle products safely.
• Needs to have a good sense of direction, in order to understand written and/or spoken instructions required for delivery and be familiar with using navigation systems.
• Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
• Must be able to drive under adverse road conditions in order to complete all deliveries.
• Be dependable, self-motivating, and willing to work.
• Physical ability to load and unload products.
• Able to maintain balance on all types of surfaces including slippery surfaces.
• Able to retain written and spoken instructions.

Working Conditions:

• During summer months outside temperatures can be over 100 degrees for the entire workday.
• During winter months outside temperatures can be below zero degrees for the entire workday.
• During and after heavy rains or snowfall roads leading to and at the facilities can be extremely muddy, snow covered, icy and difficult to maneuver on.
