HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST
HOURS:
· 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, flexible as required
· Saturday hours as needed
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Responsible for benefits on time new hire enrollment
· Responsible for Benefits Annual enrollment
· Conducts benefits orientation for new hires
· Handles insurance issues with vendors and employees
· Conduct Unemployment Hearings
· Responds in a timely manner to employee problems, questions and concerns
· Administers all employee relations issues. Processes and implements formal disciplinary action of employees, initiates termination procedures and terminates employees as needed
· Prepares and maintains records and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data. Maintains HRIS integrity
· Other duties as needed or required
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Including phone etiquette
· Self-Starter
· Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills
· Team Player
· Computer skills and knowledge of basic office software necessary
· Good Attendance
· Bilingual preferred but not required
· Trustworthy – Will be handling confidential material
· 10-key skills beneficial
· College preferred but not required
