FEEDMILL- OPERATOR
Description
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for operating COMCO batching system and pellet mills at the Moorefield Feed Mill. They will be responsible for following BMP’s of making feed. This employee must be safety oriented and possess good decision-making skills. The individual will also need good verbal and written communications skills.
Description of Duties/Qualifications:
1)Must not be afraid of heights and confined spaces. (Will be required to take Confined
Space Entry and Rescue Training and remain certified yearly. This also requires a yearly physical.)
2)Must have a High School Diploma / GED.
3)Must work well with others.
4) Must possess excellent decision-making ability.
5) Must possess excellent math skills.
6) Must have basic computer skills.
7) Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions and in any type of environment.
(High dust, wet, dry, hot above 100 degrees, cold below 0 degrees, high wind. Etc.)
8) Must be able to come to work in inclement weather.
9) Will be required to work some weekends and most holidays.
10) Will be working in a high noise area (above 85db) where hearing protection is required.
11) Must be willing to work other shifts if needed.
12) Clean-up duties will also be assigned.
