Cooler Camera Operator

Start Time: 4:30am

Camera operator is in charge of taking pictures of cattle presented for USDA grading during the cooler’s steer run. Cattle will come to the grading bench ribbed between the 12th and 13th rib.

The operator will follow the tag number shown on his monitor and take pictures of the presented rib eyes that match the tag number. The operator is responsible for proper camera placement and accuracy of pictures to help insure the best possible grade for each head presented. The camera operator will also be responsible for cleanup of the camera upon completion of the steer run.

Qualifications:

· Computer skills

· Detail oriented

· Knowledge of different computer programs

· Troubleshooting

· Must be able to work in cold environment

· Able to work 8+ hour shifts.

· Able to operate camera with two hands

· Must be able to work around livestock

· Ability to lift, push and pull product repetitively in a hot and/or cold assembly line environment

· Ability to work with sharp instruments

· Must maintain good personal hygiene.

· Production experience preferred in a food processing facility.

· Punctual and attentive

· Must be comfortable working alone or in a team

· Willing to cross train

· Any other responsibilities per management

· High School degree or equivalent required.
