MAINTENANCE TRAINING SUPERVISOR

 

Responsibilities: 

  •        Management of the DuPont Training System
  •        Ensure effective and up to date training on safety procedures
  •        Track and document that team members are receiving sufficient time in training program
  •        Spend time in plant verifying team members with hands-on training and comprehension
  •        Continually develop training curriculum specific to plant needs
  •        Document and maintain training records
  •        Assist HR with maintaining accurate pay for hourly team members
  •        Job postings and keeping accurate records of placement
  •        Processes maintenance downtime report
  •        Assigns work orders or special projects to maintenance employees
  •        Provide technical, mechanical, and/or electrical assistance throughout shift
  •        Develop, direct, and manage predictive maintenance workforce
  •        Schedule preventative maintenance with mechanics
  •        Maintain budgets and improve processes to maintain equipment to the highest level possible
  •        Monitor employee attendance, skill development progress, and opportunities
  •        Other duties as assigned  

 

Qualifications:

  •        High School Diploma or equivalent required
  •        Mechanical inclination
  •        Experience in industrial maintenance
  •        Strong leadership and coaching skills
  •        Ability to work a flexible schedule (providing training to all shifts)
  •        Strong computer skills
  •        Able to communicate verbally and in written form in English
  •        Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 
  •        As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
