Job Description: Administrative Assistant
Staring Pay: $16+ DOE/HR
Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides both administrative and creative support to the team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing, communicating, and designing digital assets. The successful candidate will manage daily office tasks, assist with internal and external communications, and create visually appealing materials using company approved design platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Assist with coordinating meetings, events, and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain and update digital records, shared drives, and internal databases.
Graphic & Digital Design
  • Create visually engaging graphics, flyers, presentations, and digital assets using company approved design software.
  • Format documents and presentations to ensure brand consistency.
  • Support marketing, HR, and internal communications with design needs.
  • Assist with basic content editing and layout improvements for newsletters, handouts, and training materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in or willing to learn Canva and other design-focused tools.
  • Basic understanding of computer functions and ability to learn new platforms quickly. 
  • Comfortable navigating online tools, digital platforms, and cloud-based systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an administrative, communications, or design-related role.
  • Basic understanding of branding and visual design principles.
  • Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Trello).
    • Most work is done indoors.
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
      • Adapt to change in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events in a positive manner.Will work somewhat close to other people, such as when sharing office space.
        Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
        • Must display Core Values.
        • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as other Windows based products.
        • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
