PRODUCTION HOURLY
Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Transfers eggs from incubators to hatchers.
- Processes chicks according to schedule.
- Clean hatchery after processing chicks by washing and disinfecting hatcher racks, plastics and boxes.
- Loads eggs into incubators
- Accurately completes paperwork associated with job tasks.
· Willing to work a split week approximately every three weeks which consists of M & T 12:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. and TH & F 5:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· Some ability to add and subtract
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Absolutely no exposure to other poultry
- Must be willing to euthanize any unhealthy chicks
- Can not be exposed to any type of poultry, birds, ducks or geese.
