CASE READY PLANT MANAGER - MEMPHIS PLANT
Description
The Memphis Case Ready Facility Manager directs, leads, and coaches the operational personnel in, planning, organizing and running optimum day-to-day operations of facility to exceed our customers’ expectations. Responsible for increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing, to ensure policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS: | · Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or 8 years of operational management experience in a plant environment. · Lean Six Sigma certification preferred · Training in Safety, SQF, GMP, and HACCP · Previous experience and strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices · Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office products to analyze data and trends · Previous experience in best practice implementing and using continuous improvement and lean tools to drive improvement · Previous experience and broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies · Demonstrated strong leadership, team building, and advanced coaching skills. · Demonstrated understanding of the principles and applications associated with manufacturing operations, maintenance, and engineering · Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs · A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible · Strong analytical and decision-making skills · Ability to lead decision-making processes in a team environment · Ability to speak, read, and write English · Good verbal and written communication skills · Bilingual (Spanish) preferred |
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, walking, bending, lifting, stooping, crouching, kneeling intermittently.
- Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
- Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers.
- Average, ordinary visual acuity is necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Must be able to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Temperatures are frequently around 34 degrees, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays. As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary, and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

Base salary range of ($150k - $175K)
