Mailroom Warehouse Clerk

 

Location: Pittsburg, Texas

The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for all aspects of mailroom operations and provides support to warehouse operations as needed. This position plays a key role in ensuring the timely receipt, distribution, and processing of company mail while supporting inventory and material movement activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming inter-company and U.S. mail.
  • Sort and distribute mail to the appropriate department mailboxes.
  • Meter outgoing U.S. mail.
  • Process outgoing bulk mail.
  • Operate and maintain mailroom equipment.
  • Prepare boxed or bundled materials for distribution or mailing.
  • Maintain daily cash records and submit weekly deposits.
  • Complete monthly journal entries and allocate postage costs to appropriate cost centers.
  • Review and determine the proper location of individuals listed on mail.
  • Prepare weekly postage reports and comprehensive monthly postage graphs.
  • Maintain equipment records and prepare procurement requisitions for supplies, including toner, ink, and office supplies.
  • Assist with inventory activities and movement of materials within the storage warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 What you’ll need:

 

·          Education: High School Diploma or GED required;

·          Experience: 1-2 years of related work experience preferred;

·          Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications. Ability to stand, walk and lift for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong verbal and communication skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
