This position functions within a team framework to efficiently create and maintain digital assets (may include print as well) that enhances the overall images of and supports annual marketing plans for the company and its multiple brands. The Creative Web & Graphic Designer provides design and production expertise in the implementation of a diverse spectrum of materials. Tasks are diverse and often time-sensitive, requiring good project/time management skills and a high degree of creative-thinking and collaboration.

The Creative Services Team functions as a shared service for the multiple business units within Pilgrim's & JBS and is uniquely positioned to help the business as a whole through growth and cost savings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build creative content utilizing internal and external sources
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain brand site management (images and content updates)
  • Create and manage content for Syndigo, our online retail store data asset management system
  • Create web and social media content and assist with schedule for publishing
  • Document functional requirements for systems and processes
  • Manage the creative platform and standards for the company and its brands—working in collaboration with company/brand identity managers and external agencies
  • Understand marketer needs and quantify appropriate actions
  • Design a wide range of visual aids/materials to support marketing needs. This involves design and production of graphic materials for packaging, advertising, media and communication purposes
  • Photography/Videography experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in creating & maintaining web-based applications, including working knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures such as HTML, JAVA, Mac, UNIX and Windows Platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, Wordpress, and Drupal
  • Must have strong desire to develop and implement creative content for website, social media, and sales/marketing material
  • Must be a self-starter who can assume full responsibility of module development activities
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work independently with little direction/supervision
  • Strong determination to see tasks are completed in timely manner
  • Active participant in functional and technical discussions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Must be a strong team player

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): eligible after 90 days of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of $60,000 - $65,000 annually; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
