Pilgrim's is searching for a Sales Accounting and Programs Analyst.


  • Proactively support the Corporate Marketing team to understand brand profitability
  • Support ad hoc information requests for Corporate Marketing
  • Cost center and budget support for Corporate Marketing
  • Weekly and Monthly reporting as defined for Sales Programs
  • Review and analyze sales programs on an ongoing basis highlighting any areas of concern. Work with Sales, Sales programs coordinators and the Trade Spend Director to address these
  • Support Trade spend and Pricing Director in ensuring that all required sales programs are in place
  • Own the compilation of the annual Sales Programs budget. Understand what is included and be able to explain variances.
  • Ensure Blacksmith programs are correctly reflected in SAP
  • Determine Sales Programs reporting needs for Sales Programs team, Sales and the wider business.
  • Own reporting from Forge Analytics for Sales Programs
  • Ad Hoc Sales Accounting reporting as required
  • Develop opportunities for increased use of Qlik Sense and RPA. Assist with data transformation opportunities across the wider Sales Accounting team
  • Support and develop 1 direct report



  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to work proactively in a high-paced deadline oriented environment
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Must be focused, detail and numbers oriented, and have the ability to multi task
  • Advanced Excel required
  • Strong problem solving and analytical ability required
  • Persistent in understanding and solving problems
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written required
  • Ability to communicate and work closely with supervisor relative to critical/urgent sales programs issues
  • High level of synergy is critical to success
  • Must be able to set goals and successfully meet deadlines


The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  •  401(k): eligible after 90 days of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of $65,000-75,000; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
