Position Title: Logistics Manager
Department:Sales
Location: Greeley, CO
Reports to: Sales Director
Principle Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Transactional Brokering of Company Freight which includes:
- Securing qualified owner operators primarily to haul power only, as well as, securing third-party asset-based carriers.
- Matching loads for third party carriers for best utilization, service, and profitability.
- Primary contact for all third-party asset-based carriers.
- Long term rate negotiating, as necessary, with carrier partners.
- Weekly review and reporting of transactions with carriers to the executive team.
- Responsible for Load Tracking which includes:
- Managing all admin features for carrier tracking in tools provided.
- Managing all admin processes in obtaining loads for transactional coverage.
- Monitoring admin processes of carrier settlements and profitability of transactions.
- Managing authorization of carrier invoices for accounts payable.
- Working with Operations as to advise which lanes may need outside freight capacity and procuring 3rd party freight for the assets.
- Min-Max Temp Alert reports.
- Create annual budget, report weekly and period results.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One to three years’ transportation management experience preferred.
- Solid leadership skills.
- Computer skills including data entry Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to mutli-task in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work as a team player, and independently.
- Acute verbal and written communication.
- Strong listening skills.
- Strong ability for planning and organizing.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

- Base salary range of $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 annually and
- This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s quarterly bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
