eCommerce Marketing Analyst

 

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: This is an entry level eComm/digital position working for one of the largest food companies in the world.  The candidate will have a tremendous opportunity for growth and promotion working with several of the most prestigious, high demand Brands in the industry.  The candidate will be executing retail media programming, in-store shopper marketing programs, and digital activations that are driving double digit growth of online sales for major grocery chains across the country.

 

The eCommerce Marketing Analyst will help bring new commerce & digital products, services, and programs to market. This role will focus on existing and new commerce and/or digital capabilities, as well as a subset of required underlying enablers across functions, such as technology, merchandising, pricing, supply chain, operations, and others depending on the nature of the program being brought to market.

 

Success in this role will require close partnerships with cross-functional teams to enable new offerings, design activation (Omni Channel), test, learn, and iterate, and then ultimately scale-up. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment that requires entrepreneurship and dedication within a complex, matrixed, organization and understands how to build new capabilities. Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills are critical.  Deep understanding of data analysis, reporting and presentation are a must.  This role demands extreme attention to detail.

 

Key Retailer Ecommerce Responsibilities

  • Own the Retailer and become the retailer media, shopper marketing, & digital expert.
  • Manage Retailer specific retail media, planning, & execution – Search & Display.
  • Manage Retailer specific in-store shopper marketing, planning, & execution.
  • Drive & own ongoing communication with Digital Contacts.
  • Lead vendor meetings to include being prepared before the meetings. 
  • Develop and build Retailer Digital Relationships.
  • Develop and leverage Sales Relationships.
  • Be a resource for our Sales team.  Help them understand and communicate Retail Media & Digital Programming.
  • Understand & build programs taking into consideration Sales/Trade programs, social media calendar, and other strategies in play.
  • Review, provide analysis, and report on all campaign KPIs and metrics. 
  • Manage & follow up on all retailer campaign/program activations. 
  • Continually optimize, test, and report on campaign activations.
  • Manage all necessary creatives to specified timelines & lead times.
  • Process and document all creative requests using internal processes.
  • Learn and leverage retailer/agency reporting platforms. 
  • Provide decks for business reviews and sales meetings.
  • Perform all administrative responsibilities of managing retailer activations including Invoicing, invoice management, vendor relations, creative assets, digital submissions, copy, and timelines.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage ratings and reviews across all key retailers and provide in-depth reporting on results.
  • Manage digital shelf and product syndication services and report on results.
  • Build and create PowerPoint decks for internal and external stakeholders.
  • In-depth reporting and analysis of various vendor dashboards and data sets.
  • Manage ad hoc digital marketing enhancements - Rating and Reviews, Retail Media Analytics, GDSN product, and score cards.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree with major in Business, Marketing or Digital preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience working in corporate Marketing or Digital departments.
  • Ecommerce, retail media and/or retail shopper marketing experience is a plus.
  • Basic finance and accounting knowledge are a plus.
  • Consumer Package Goods (CPG) and/or Grocery experience are a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet manipulation and data analysis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and creation and delivery of presentations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with at data analysis, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Well versed with marketing and digital concepts.
  • Superb oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.
  • Can multi-task several projects at a time.
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $56,500 - $65,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
