JOB SUMMARY:
| Responsible for the operation and prompt adjusting, repairing, and ongoing maintenance of the facility equipment. Assists in higher levels of mechanics with duties including but not limited to: servicing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
| 1. Monitor the water treatment facility's performance to ensure the effective treatment and pumping of the water supply and adjust as necessary to maintain facility's regulatory compliance. 2. 2. Monitor the refrigeration system and adjust maintain proper cold room and freezing tunnel temperatures with little to no supervision. This position provides customer service to the rest of the facility (warehouse and production) and must maintain equipment for peak efficiency, and power saving while meeting the requirements of OHSA's PSM, and the EPA's RMP programs. 3. 3. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and other plant equipment 4. a. Resolves all maintenance and mechanical problems promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules. 5. b. Follows all lock out, tag out procedures. 6. c. Performs equipment PM’s, minor equipment repair, and replaces parts in need of replacing. 7. 4. Completes maintenance recordkeeping 8. a. Keeps record of all work performed. 9. b. Updates maintenance history logs and completes required paperwork. 10. c. Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repair. 11. 5. Understands and follows the company GMP policy. 12. 6. Understands and follows the company safety rules 13. a. Cleans and maintains work area. 14. 7. May be required to work long hours and weekends. 15. 8. May assume other duties as assigned.

Very active position, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.

HEARING:
| Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

REPETITIVE MOTION:
| Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and or fingers.
|
VISUAL ABILITIES:
| Acute close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
| Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds throughout the day.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
| Must be able to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Temperatures are frequently below freezing, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for most of their workdays.
|
