DUTIES:
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA REQUIRED
- TYPING AND COMPUTER SKILLS (FAMILIAR WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE)
- GOOD VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS NEEDED
- TRANSLATES FOR EMERGENT ON-SCENE HEALTH CARE AND NON-EMERGENT OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH OFFICE VISITS
- TRANSLATES AND ASSISTS NEW HIRES AND CURRENT EMPLOYEES WITH MEDICAL AND TRAINING POLICY PAPERWORK AND SCREENING.
- REMOVES TERM EMPLOYEES FROM SEPARATE ACTIVE AND MEDICAL FILES AND PLACES THEM INTO STORAGE. (REQUIRED BY AUDIT AND OSHA REGULATION 30 YEAR)
- ENTERS NEW HIRE EMPLOYEES INTO SEPARATE ACTIVE AND MEDICAL FILES (REQUIRED BY AUDIT AND OSHA REGULATION 30 YEAR)
- MAINTAINS DATA BASE FOR PURGED MEDICAL OFFICE DOCUMENTS, RETREIVES FILES AS NEEDED FOR LITIGATION PURPOSES.
- DRUG SCREENING FOR NEW HIRES, RANDOM, DOT RANDOMS, REASONABLE SUSPICION, AND POST ACCIDENT.
- PREPARE AND SHIP NEW HIRE, RANDOM, RS, AND POST ACCIDENT DRUG SCREENING SAMPLES TO OCCUFIT FOR MEDICAL LAB TESTING
- SENDS DOT DRUG SCREEN SPLIT SAMPLES FOR DOT MEDICAL LAB TESTING VERIFICATION
- SENDS DOT DRUG SCREEN MRO RESULTS TO PATSY POWELL (CORPORATE)
- TRACKS, RECORDS, FILES DOT RECERTIFICATIONS (DOT DRUG SCREENING AND DRIVER PHYSICALS) AS REQUIRED BY AL DOT REGULATION
- TRACKS, RECORDS, FILES ALL AUDIOMETRIC TESTING, MEDICAL COMPLAINT SHEETS, FLU SHOT FORMS INTO SEPARATE ACTIVE AND MEDICAL FILE SYSTEM.
- ENTERS ALL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH EMPLOYEE VISITS INTO THE DAILY LOG TRACKING SYSTEM ON SAFETY/OCC HEALTH SHAREPOINT AS REQUIRED.
- ENTERS, TRACKS, OPENS AND CLOSES MEDICAL CASES IN PROGNOS ELECTRONIC CHARTING SYSTEM.
- RESTOCKS MEDICAL PPE AND PERISHABLE ITEMS FOR MEDICAL STAFF AND MERT TEAM MEMBERS
- MAINTAINS DATABASE FOR JOB SAFETY DESCRIPTIONS FOR ALL EMPLOYEES (FOR USE WITH FORM K, E , AND J)
- MAINTAINS DATABASE FOR MERT TEAM MEMBERS, AI TEAM MEMBERS, HAZMAT TEAM MEMBERS, FORMALDAHYDE TEAM MEMBERS (INCLUDING REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR CERTIFICATION AND POSTING TEAM LIST AS REQUIRED)
- CREATES NEW WORK COMP FILES FOR WORK COMP FILE SYSTEM (MUST BE SEPARATE FROM ACTIVE AND MEDICAL)
- CREATES/ PROVIDES AGGREGATE HEALTH INFORMATION, WELLNESS, AND PREVENTION INFORMATION TO EMPLOYEES
- MEMBER OF HR HEALTH COMMITTEE
