FOOD SAFETY QA LAB TECHNICIAN
Description
Lab Quality Assurance Technician
- Perform routine lab procedures (sample collection for further testing)
- Ensure all Certificate of Analyses is correct before sending to customer.
- Assist in daily pre-op duties
- Understanding and interpreting lab results
- Enter daily data effectively and efficiently
- Conducting and overseeing quality assurance/ Food Safety
- Promote a Safe work environment for all employees.
- Monitor SOP’s, SSOP’s, and GMP compliance of associates, perform HACCP procedures to comply with federal regulations
- Work with USDA and present records to them at the agency’s request
- Review finished product, processes and records to ensure accuracy and be held accountable to their accuracy.
- Aid QA supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations
- Work closely with production associates in monitoring meat product for specifications, and correcting specification deficiencies
- Assist in other duties as needed

- Able to Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturday work
